Progress
As I get closer to finishing my M.S. in Cybersecurity, I’ve been reflecting on how much I’ve learned and how far I’ve come. What started as a simple curiosity has now turned into a full-on passion, and I’ve hit some exciting milestones along the way. One of the biggest moments this year was passing my Cybersecurity+ certification. Getting that certification was an accomplishment, and it solidified my commitment to the cybersecurity field. At the moment, I’m focusing on the Network+ exam. I’ve been diving deep into networking concepts like protocols, infrastructure, and the way everything connects. It’s a lot to take in, but I know it’s going to be essential for my career moving forward. I'm pushing through the material and looking forward to the day I can check this exam off my list. Once I pass the Network+ exam, my next goal is to sharpen my Bash and Python scripting skills. I want to build on what I already know and get more comfortable with automation and scripting. Bash and Python are both key tools in cybersecurity, and improving my skills there will help me work more efficiently, solve problems faster, and automate repetitive tasks. This journey has been both challenging and rewarding. Every new skill I pick up brings me closer to where I want to be. There’s always something new to learn in, and I’m excited to keep going.
